A charity i support was using RallyUp for their silent auction.
I was bidding on an item and RallyUp automatically added a tip (this is an admin fee for RallyUp that is supposed to be optional - this is how they make their money)
You have to physically go in and adjust tip amount, then select other and then add $0 - its very sneaky and difficult to navigate. For there not to be an easy option to say no tip is ridiculous. So most people will unwillingly be paying a 15% tip to RallyUp which is way to much!!!! It should be a standard $2 admin fee.
Anyhow, I was bidding on an item and selected no tip, but when i went to the payment section it added a tip amount. I wanted the item and time was running out so i agreed, then was outbid.
Went to bid again, once again i had to adjust the tip amount.
The screen then got stuck on “just a sec” for 4 mins, so i refreshed the page, had to go find the item again and by this stage the auction ended.
